Before battle with Pablo

Pablo comes out of hiding.

[Pablo]
...uh....hello....um.....ahhh
W...who are you?

[Shyna]
Me? I'm Shyna, the Messenger of Justice, on a mission to save the world! What's your name, little boy, and do you really live in this creepy old castle?

[Pablo]
My name is Pablo...well, I THINK that's my name. I keep having these black-outs...and, well...um... Mr. Megido gave me this place, but ever since I moved in, the Mirages have been attacking it...and me.

[Shyna]
Megido? I know I've heard that name once before. Who the heck is he?

[Pablo]
Mr. Megido is the strongest of all the Silhouettes. He's really scary...and really cool, too! I want to be just like him someday. But anyway, you'd better watch your step in here, it's really dangerous. Here, let me give you something in case of emergency...just a sec...

Pablo starts checking his pockets for a present for Shyna; 2 Spectres walk in, take out mallets and smash the ground with them, causing the wall in the background to collapse, revealing the moon outside a window. Pablo tosses an item to Shyna, then transforms and hits her.

[Pablo]
I smell the fear you feel. I taste the sweat you bleed. Soon, I shall consume the life you cherish.

[Shyna]
If I knew you were gonna give me a case of the shakes, I'd have passed on the offer, Pablo!

[Pablo]
Pablo? Nobody calls me that and gets away with it around here, pipsqueak. I'll toss you around a bit to tenderize your entrails, and then you're DINNER! While the moon shines, I have the strength of a hundred men. Unless you can stop the moon from shining, you ARE mine, puny one!

Defeat Pablo without knocking down the painting in the back

[Shyna]
Hey! You big cheater! That "moon" was just a painting! Ah, well. Time to run before the fuzzy wonder starts waking up...

Shyna leaves.

Defeat Pablo by knocking down the painting once, and having it put back up

[Shyna]
Transforming into a wolf by looking at a big picture of the moon... How imaginative. But I'm no Little Red Riding Hood!

Shyna leaves.

Defeat Pablo's human form

[Shyna]
I'm so sorry for having to hurt you, Pablo...but I can't let you stop me. You, or anyone else...

[Pablo]
Ooooofff......
...I'm sorry, too, Messenger. I feel so much better now that you've beaten the ever-living crap out of me. No more lycantrophy for me, I promise! From now on, I'm just plain old Pablo! I'll never forget you...

Shyna leaves.

[Pablo]

Part 4

Cutscene before battle with Malak

Shyna falls towards the ground, and a GA portal opens up. Shyna lands on a bridge below, and something falls into the water below the bridge. Malak flies up. [Malak]
Tee-hee! I finally found you! You're the destroyer who made my daddy angry...and now I'm going to delete you!

[Shyna]
I don't think you want to make ME angry you...what the heck ARE you? The smiley face from Hell?

[Gehena]
Bulletin Status: Warning! Target Class: Unknown. Confirmations: Unknown. Target within range has no attribute and therefore cannot be confirmed or attacked with either type of shot on initial contact. Attack visible agent, then observe enemy attribute alignment to discern proper attack attribute.

[Shyna]
Until I can see a target, I have to keep using a same-attribute attack...got it!

[Malak]
Quit blabbing and start praying, Messenger! I see no reason to extend your sad little existence!

Spectres fly in and blow up parts of the bridge, then lift it into the air.

After the battle

[Shyna]
Tee-hee! I told you not to tick me off, bug-face!

[Malak]
Boo-hoo! Curse you, Messenger! Curse you and the hat you flew in on! BLAHH! Take this wretched thing and leave me be!

Malak spits out Bug's transporter

[Shyna]
What? Where did you get Bug's transporter?! Who put you up to this?

[Malak]
You're in over your head, Messenger! I wouldn't ask anymore questions if I were you. You're only still here by the grace of Megido. If Megido wanted you dead by now, you would be. Now, go!

The Spectres drop the bridge, leaving it and Shyna to fall. Bug appears, and teleports Shyna out of the area.

Bug's Nexus

[Shyna]
I found out that Megido is supposed to be the strongest of the Silhouettes...did you know that?

[Bug]
Heh, heh! "Cruelest" is more like it! Hal hates his guts. Emm? The brainy Mirages and the brawny Silhouettes have never gotten along. Yes. But they've finally found some common ground...they both want to delete you! Yes. You should be proud, in a strange kind of way. Emm? . . . . . . Something's wrong...

[Shyna]
What? What's going on, Bug?

[Bug]
Someone is scanning my transport program. Yes. Trying to break into it! Heh, heh! No way that's ever going to happen. Trust me. Emm?

The nexus splits in half, and Shyna is dragged into Zohar's nexus.

[Zohar M]
Such a pathetically simple program. And...oh, dear...I believe I may have destroyed it during my forced entry. An unavoidable consequence, I'm afraid.

[Shyna]
If anything's happened to Bug, I'm holding you personally responsible!

[Zohar M]
You have FEELINGS for that feeble creature, Messenger? Fascinating... The only emotion I crave is the joy I shall gain from your deletion!

After battle, if Zohar M was defeated

[Zohar M]
You have rebuffed my assault in a nexus of my own creation. If I hadn't pride to spare, I might find this humiliating...

[Shyna]
Don't hate me because I'm beautiful! You just have to realize that I'm better than you...and stop following me around!

[Zohar M]
Perhaps YOU have yet to realize that everything within this nexus was created by my program...including you, Messenger. Thus, if I deleted this nexus, what do you think might happen to you?

[Shyna]
Gulp! I'd be deleted as well!

[Zohar M]
Indeed, Messenger. Every last bit and byte of you...
...isn't that just a delightful thought to savor?

Zohar disappears, and the nexus starts to disappear as well. Bug appears, and teleports Shyna out.

After the battle, if Zohar S is defeated

[Zohar S]
You fend off my assaults in a nexus of my own creation. If I hadn't pride to spare, I might even be humiliated... That is, if I didn't know that all within this nexus was created by my program...including you, Messenger. And it can be deleted just as easily.

[Shyna]
But if you delete the nexus, you delete us both with it...

[Zohar S]
How very wrong you are, Messenger. As the creator of the Nexus, my code is protected...while yours is not.

[Shyna]
Uh oh!

[Zohar S]
Hrmph. That is exactly the response I expected from a pretender of your caliber. Goodbye, Messenger.

Zohar disappears, and the nexus starts to disappear, too. Bug appears and teleports Shyna out.

Bug's Nexus

[Bug]
Heh, heh! That was close...I was just about a squashed bug. Yes. Zohar's power is growing. Emm?

[Shyna]
Thanks, Bug...again! You're getting really good at pulling my hat out of the fire. Is that good or bad?

[Bug]
Zohar didn't think I could get into the Nexus before it was deleted. Yes. Sometimes, it's nice to be the one that's underestimated. Emm? We've reached the junction for the new Nexus. Yes. This is the world of Machonom. This is where I say "seeya." Yes. Promise me you'll be more careful? Emm?

[Shyna]
I promise, Bug. And I promise you're not gonna have to bail me out again... Just you wait and see!
